As the founder of Run N Gun Youth Basketball, Eddie has dedicated his life to sharing his passion and expertise with young athletes. Early Years and High School Achievements
From Lakewood High to McDonald’s All-American
Eddie’s high school years at Lakewood High School were distinguished by numerous honors. He was twice selected as a member of the prestigious All Moore League by the coaches in Long Beach. His outstanding performance on the court also earned him the designation of McDonald’s All-American, a testament to his skill and dedication.
College Career
Success at Fullerton Junior College and MSU-Billings
Eddie’s basketball career continued to flourish at Fullerton Junior College, where he was a member of the All-Conference team for both years. He then transitioned to Eastern Montana College, now Montana State University – Billings, as a red-shirt. As a Yellowjacket, he excelled in his final two years of college basketball, showcasing his talent and determination.
Professional Play and Coaching Career
From Professional Basketball to Youth Coaching
Eddie’s professional basketball career included stints in Seattle and Vancouver, where he continued to hone his skills. In 2011, Eddie founded the Run N Gun Youth Basketball league, aiming to teach kids from 3rd – 11th grade about the game he loves. With over a decade of coaching experience, Eddie has led both boys and girls teams at Elder Grove Junior High to several championships. He currently coaches at Billings Christian School.
